I used to have Circus Of Power - Live At The Ritz on cassette. I'll look around & see if I still have it. Your omission of Strapps - Ball Of Fire has got me hoping that you have it. If so I'd love to see it in a future post.
More soon,
Matt

Thanks for your efforts regarding C.O.P. Matt, it's appreciated.
I do have Strapps' "Ball Of Fire" somewhere, but if memory serves it's been ripped from a pretty knackered slab of vinyl.
Having said that, the ole gray matter ain't what it used to be, so it may sound better than i recall.
I'll have a listen to it when i turn it up, and if it's listenable i'll share it here.
Thanks again,
bigfootkit

Apparently my memory is as flawed as i thought it was Matt.
I've looked out "Ball Of Fire", and lo and behold, it sounds great!
In fact it's a pristine rip @ 320kbps!
I'll upload it soon mate, keep yer eyes peeled.

wow! I saw Heyoka as a warm up act several times back in the day. I didn't know that they had recorded anything other than the "disco sucks" single & the track on the KLOL comp. Exciting days we're living in.

Thanks to all of you for taking the time to peruse my list, and in some cases, dig through your collections on my behalf.
It's much appreciated folks.
Sorry about the delay in bringing you the post i promised for last weekend. The weather turned great last week, and as it's such a rarity 'round these parts, i've been living outdoors more or less for the last 5 days or so.
It should be up by this weekend, so keep checking back.
6070Rock, i've sent you an e-mail my friend, i look forward to hearing from you.
Sam, nice to see you're still stopping by the blog, if you could upload that Heyoka album for me, i'd be much obliged mate. I don't think it was i who uploaded that Metalis EP, (Best cover ever! Giraffes are sooo Metal!), but feel free to slap me on the back for it regardless. :)
For those of you with an interest in beautifully twisted art, check out Sam's blog at:
http://samleyja.blogspot.com/
You'll be glad you did.
And finally, Matt, is there a band you haven't seen at some point? Wasn't it you who posted the Full Moon live track a long time ago too?
Thanks again people,
Bigfootkit

It wasn't me who sent the Full Moon track. Must have been another Matt.
I was fortunate enough to grow up near San Antonio Texas. They had...still have a very strong rock n' roll scene with radio stations that play bands like Moxy, Budgie, Legs Diamond, and Strapps on a regular basis. Heyoka & Austin's Too Smooth were popular support acts back in the 70's. Two fine bands that should have gone much further.

Thanks for the upload JP, unfortunately this is the 1982 album by the Canadian band Sheriff.
Sadly this is not the one i'm looking for.
The one i'm after is the self-titled 1979 LP by an Italian band previously known as Sensation's Fix who moved to the USA and changed their name to Sheriff for a lone LP.
Thanks very much for taking the time to check out the list and upload the album anyway, i'll give it a spin regardless.
